10 Bullet Journal Wishlist Page Ideas You’ll Want to Copy Immediately

One night I was laying in bed scrolling online when I saw a pair of shoes I loved. Not the kind you actually need, obviously. Just the kind that suddenly takes over your brain for the next hour.

I almost bought them right then, but instead I grabbed my bullet journal and wrote them down. Weirdly enough, that little moment turned into a whole page idea that I now use all the time.

A wishlist bullet journal page is basically a brain dump for all the things you want someday. Big stuff, little stuff, random stuff you spotted at 11:42 PM when you probably should’ve been asleep.

And honestly… once you start one, it becomes kind of addicting. It’s part planning, part dreaming, and part keeping track of things before you totally forget them.

Below are some fun wishlist bullet journal ideas you can try. Some are simple lists, others are more visual. None of them have to be perfect. Mine definitely aren’t.

(Don’t forget to pin me for later!)

Tools:

Before we dive right in, I want to mention the tools I have found and use for Bullet Journaling. If you’re just starting out on your BuJo journey, these are the tools I wish I had purchased at the beginning instead of overpriced books and markers that ‘professional bullet journal-ers’ recommended me.

  1. I use this journal, which is a dupe to the cult-favorite Leuchtturm1917. The only difference is the pages aren’t numbered. No biggie.
  2. This is the black pen I use for writing in my dailies and such.
  3. I get these colorful markers for decorating.
  4. Metal Stencils to help me decorate and design my journal. They come with a little carry case and ruler.

That’s it. And to be completely transparent, I only use the markers and stencils a couple of times a month, when I set up new pages, or am bored and want to decorate.

They’re great to have on hand for when you’re trying to figure out how to decorate your bullet journal.

Wishlist Bullet Journal Ideas

The Classic Wishlist Page

The easiest place to start is just a simple list. Write “My Wishlist” at the top of the page and start listing things you want.

It can be anything. Clothes, books, makeup, gadgets, even places you want to visit. I usually think of stuff randomly through the week, so having one place to put it helps a lot.

You don’t have to organize it much either. A messy list is honestly part of the charm.

A Visual Wishlist Spread

If you like drawing, this one is really fun.

Instead of just writing items, you sketch them. Little doodles of shoes, bags, headphones, books, whatever you’re dreaming about buying someday. The drawings don’t have to be good. Mine look like something a tired raccoon drew and its still cute.

You can add tiny labels pointing to each item so you remember what it is.

Category Wishlist Pages

Sometimes one page gets way too crowded. When that happens, breaking things into categories helps.

You could try sections like:

  • Clothes
  • Books
  • Self care items
  • Tech gadgets
  • Home decor
  • Random stuff you saw online

This makes it easier when you actually go back later and decide what you want to buy first.

The “Updated Wishlist” Tracker

One thing I started doing recently is making a page that says “Updated Wishlist.”

Every few months I rewrite the list and remove things I don’t want anymore. You’d be surprised how many things seemed amazing at the time… then a few months later you’re like wait why did I want that?

It also helps you see what you still really want.

A Birthday or Holiday Wishlist Page

This page is honestly super helpful when someone asks you what you want for your birthday or Christmas.

Instead of going blank and saying “I don’t know,” you can just check your journal. Future you will be very thankful.

You can even add little stars next to the things you’d be happiest to receive.

Wishlist With Prices

This one is great if you’re trying to be a little more responsible with money.

Next to each item, write the price. Or at least an estimate. It helps you see which things are quick little treats and which ones might take some saving.

I did this once and realized half my list was coffee shop drinks and candles. Which honestly explains alot.

A “Bought It” Wishlist Section

One of the most satisfying things you can do is mark items when you finally get them.

You can:

  • Cross them off
  • Highlight them
  • Add a tiny check mark
  • Color them in

It sounds simple but its weirdly motivating. Plus you get to see how many things you’ve actually achieved or purchased over time.

Wishlist Page Decoration Ideas

The decorating part is where people really get creative.

Some easy ideas you can try:

  • Little bows or ribbon drawings
  • Hearts around the page border
  • Pink highlighter accents
  • Small stars or sparkles
  • Tiny product doodles
  • Washi tape along the edges

You can keep it simple or go all out. Both styles look good.

Mini Wishlist Boxes

Instead of one big list, you can draw little boxes around the page and fill each one with a different item.

It almost looks like a collage of things you want. Some people even color the drawings or add tiny shadows to make them pop a bit.

This style works really well if you like aesthetic bullet journal spreads.

Why Wishlist Pages Are Actually Pretty Useful

At first a wishlist page just feels like a place to write random things you want. But after using one for a while, it turns into something more helpful.

You stop impulse buying as much because you write things down first. You remember gift ideas. And sometimes you even realize you didn’t want something that badly after all.

Plus its just fun to flip back through old pages and see what you used to want. Some of mine make absolutely no sense now.

Which… honestly might be the best part of the whole thing.
