What Are Keto Fat Bombs?
Quite possibly the most delicious snack (or dessert) for dieters, keto fat bombs are just what they sound like. They are small, can be savory or sweet, and filled with healthy fats. Typically found in the shape of small balls or mini muffins. The healthy fat in them (normally from coconut oil or coconut butter) help keep you full and curb any sugary, fatty cravings you may have, especially when dieting or trying to lose weight.
The best thing about keto fat bombs is they are easy to make and you can make them in bulk to snack on throughout the week.
They consist of three basic ingredients:
A Healthy Fat
This can be coconut butter, coconut oil, coconut cream, almond butter, ghee, and avocado oil.
Flavoring
Common ones are cacao powder, sugar-free vanilla extract, 100% dark chocolate, salt, and keto sugars (which consists of erythritol, Swerve, stevia, Truvia).
Texture
My favorite part! Cacao nibs, almonds, pecans, shredded coconut, and chia seeds.
Mix and Match
Have fun creating your own fat bombs and playing around with the ingredients. the whole process is very simple.
Simply mix all the ingredients together, either by hand or with a food processor/blender. Form little balls or place them in muffin pans. Refrigerate for a couple of hours until firm and enjoy!
